Ahead of the 2024 RedBud National, RedBud MX held the first MX Sports Pro Racing Scouting Moto Combine event of 2024. Twenty-four riders were selected to compete in two 25-minute plus two-lap motos on Friday. Landen Gordon (Kawasaki) and Krystian Janik (Kawasaki) got out to an early lead on the field and ran away out front. However, Drew Adams (Kawasaki) put on a charge from outside the top 15. Eventually, Adams passed for second on the final lap, then a crash from Gordon in the final turn allowed Adams to sneak by and take the checkered flag. Janik came through second and Gordon remounted to finish third. Unfortunately, weather forced the AMA to cancel the second moto, so the Kawasaki trio of Adams, Janik, and Gordon rounded out the event podium.
Check out some awesome raw footage from the camera of Tom Journet, then, hear from Adams, Janik, Gordon, Jeremy Fappani (sixth), and Luke Fauser (seventh).
