Restaurant inside the train? Hmmm, that's right. But not on a moving train. The two abandoned Memu coaches of the train have been converted into restaurants.It is the first railway restaurant in India. Named '#Resturent_in_wheels'. Union Minister of State Babul Supriya inaugurated the restaurant. On February 26, 2020.

Indian Railways has launched its first ”Restaurant on Wheels” at the circulating area of Asansol railway station, West Bengal. This restaurant is for the use of passengers as well as the general public. The Restaurant on Wheels was developed by refurbishing two over-aged MEMU coaches.

In this 42-seater restaurant you will find a variety of tea with snacks also. You will get all kinds of items from breakfast to dinner.I will not talk about the price and quality of food. Will definitely come back when the time comes. I can guarantee you will like it very much. It is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Where is the place? It is located in our West Bengal. It is located at Asansol station.

History shows that the Burdwan-Asansol Memu was launched on July 11, 1994. Now those were no longer possible to run. This restaurant with its two coaches.
