Grand Valley State University (GVSU) hosted Comic Journalist oe Sacco at the UICA for a talk on his work on March 26. Sacco is the acclaimed author and illustrator of several award-winning works of graphic journalism, including Palestine, Safe Area Gorazde, War Junkie, and The Fixer. Sacco's work examines its subjects from a uniquely insightful perspective, hard won from his firsthand experiences in some of the most war-torn regions of our world.
