UPS Teamsters are honoring Juneteenth by calling on the company to finally recognize Juneteenth as a paid holiday. The Teamsters National Negotiating Committee is facing off with UPS at the bargaining table to push the company to do what’s right on this important issue.

"Nationally, Juneteenth is a federal holiday and we want UPS to be as diverse and inclusive as our communities," says Yolandous Williams, a member of the Teamsters National Negotiating Committee and Vice President of Teamsters Local 959 in Alaska. "We feel is it very important to continue the legacy of Juneteenth and Martin Luther King Day in our UPS national contract."
