The scenic St Ives Bay Line train journey between St Erth and St Ives in sunny West Cornwall. Coastal views and glorious sandy beaches await!
Served by Great Western Railway, the 15-minute trip is on the national rail network - change at St Erth on the Cornish main line to access the St Ives branch line. It is widely regarded as one of the most scenic lines in Britain.
This video highlights the spectacular final section of the journey as the train arrives at St Ives. From the station you are a stone's throw from the beautiful Porthminster Beach. It is a short walk into the town centre (8-10 minutes, step-free but steep in places).
The St Ives Bay Line operates as a Park & Ride service - take advantage of this to avoid the hassle of traffic and parking in busy St Ives.
