Flooding caused by climate change is no longer a distant prospect. The issue is closer to home than ever before, with March last year seeing the highest level of tidal flooding in Bristol since records began. As the climate crisis escalates, Bristol City Council is preparing flood strategies to protect our homes and businesses.
Back in spring, we asked Cable members what their most pressing concerns about Bristol and the climate crisis were. Since then, we've been speaking with experts and activists to answer them. This video looks at some of our members' questions around flooding, including how it will affect the city, which areas will be most affected, and what's being done to mitigate the risk.
