Oh the things I wish I knew before learning Dutch! Like why do the Dutch speak English to me when I try and speak Dutch to them. If someone asked me 'is it hard learning Dutch?' I would probably say 'no', BUUUT... (maar...) the problem comes when you try to have a conversation with a Dutch person! This video explains all in my little rant.
