With the Riven I mentioned in the previous video freeing up a mod slot, Ocucor can put out a lot more damage before the beam tendrils are all active. This cuts down on the ramp-up time and saves precious time when no external armor-stripping is available.

Though not shown here, Shields can be broken with enough damage over time from Heat and Magnetic status effects from Secondary Encumber, though the latter is less consistent. Being able to feed itself constantly will either spare you unlocking the Exilus slot or free it up for a comfort mod like Ruinous Extension or Eject Magazine.

There are weapons that will pull more consistent numbers for less investment, but this gimmick is too endlessly funny to not be explored.
