Adultery. It's not an unforgivable sin, but it has to be one of the worst things a human can do to another human. It's not accidental. It's a calculated decision made after it has been developed and nurtured in the heart. It kills, steals, and destroys. It breaks trusts, covenants, and hearts, and it's never just between the two people committing it. The other spouse, children, parents, and friends are also caught up in this needless, selfish, and willful sinful act. It not only breaks a covenant, but it also breaks a commandment given to us by our Creator, who knows what's best for us. So, is there a divine remedy for this? Has Father God appointed a specific person for each of us? What about divorce and remarriage? What is a soul-tie? Even if we've never committed the physical act of adultery, could we be guilty of spiritual adultery? I wanna know.
