Some more bad news for Nakumatt shoppers. Begining this Saturday you will not be able to access Nakumatt NextGen, which is located on Mombasa Road at at the NextGen Mall.
The retailer has issued a notice that it will be closing that branch until further notice and is redirecting customers to Nakumatt South C and Nakumatt Mega - both of which are close to the NextGen. The retailer says this closure is part of its restructuring activities, as it struggles to stay afloat after falling into billions of shillings in debt. Just a few days ago, the Uganda Revenue Authority started auctioning Nakumatt's goods, in order to recover the 7.3 million shillings it id owed.
