Sky News host Paul Murray says at Wednesday's People’s Forum hosted by Sky News and The Advertiser, South Australian Opposition Leader Peter Malinauskas "told the truth" about the cost of living.
Mr Malinauskas, at the People's Forum, said when politicians promise to lower the costs of petrol and groceries, it "never happens".
"The premier doesn't control the petrol price, if I become premier I'm not going to control the petrol price," he said.
"Here's a bloke who is about to, potentially, win an election, who could have gone for the final blow to say, 'if you elect me it's all about the cost of living' ... he told truth to a room of voters," Mr Murray said.
