Poland's second largest city, Krakow, has been a Jewish center for almost 1,000 years. Largely untouched in the war, its old Jewish quarter is decaying, but mostly intact. The Israeli-born Chief Rabbi of Krakow, Boaz Pash, and the four year-old Jewish Community Center are pillars of the small community of Jews now living there.
