While this humanistic tendency can be detrimental toward our careers, Urban shows that by changing our perspective on looming tasks, responsibilities and related deadlines, we can reduce the negative effects of procrastination and improve our ability to complete work even when not facing a deadline -- and ultimately have more impact.
