Since then, under the command of backup Cooper Rush, the Cowboys have gone 4-3 in their last 7 and are on their way to a winning record. They still won’t make the playoffs due to their slow start. Whitlock compares both Cowboy Qbs and poses the question. With the new contract Dak Prescott just signed this offseason making him the highest paid player in NFL history, do they even really need him?
