Using my DIY laser engrave to engrave high resolution graphics into rice.
405nm 150mW laser with approx. 50 pixel/mm and a dot size of 0.02mm

The machine is based on the machine from an older video. Two stepper motors from old floppy drives move the laser and table. New stepper motor drivers with micro stepping and some software tweaks increased the resolution to this level.
