About the event:
The Open Source Summit gathered participants from various federal agencies and programs like CMS, CDC, HHS, DHS, CISA, USDS and others, Nava’s federal health portfolio, as well as well-known organizations making strides in the federal open source space. The event consisted of lighting talks, panel discussions, and networking opportunities for participants to attend.
Lightning talks:
Lightning talks lasted approximately 5 minutes each, and were conducted back to back. Presentations were given by different agencies on open source in government technology – including the shifting paradigm to learning in the open, security and privacy measures, and more.
