This is the second part of a two part series talking about the historic Selkirk locomotive which sits outside the gate at Heritage Park. This locomotive has had an interesting history and in this episode we take you back to the 1950s and explain how this locomotive was saved and how it ended up in this spot after spending years at Mewata Park in downtown Calgary.

This episode will also introduce you to the promotional video "Calgary - The Living West" from 1962 and kick off a series of videos looking at the places shown in it.
I've also done something new in this video that I have not done on the channel before. I went through the auto-generate captions and edited them with better punctuation and spelling. To those viewers who use the captions, please let me know in the comments if you noticed and let me know you are out there so I know it is worth my time to continue to do so.
As always, thanks for coming along for the ride!
