Sunday 6 March is Clean Up Australia Day and organisers say this year’s event will be particularly important because of all the extra rubbish that’s been created by COVID-19. They’re asking participants to be citizen scientists and help count the facemasks that have ended up as litter. Amal talks to some school kids about how they’ll be helping out.
