Ingredients :
Green gram dhal - 1/2 cup
Brinjal - 3
Garlic - 3 nos
Tomato - 1 finely chopped
Shallots / small onion - 8-10 roughtly chopped
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp heaped
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Green chilly - 2 nos
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp finely chopped
Curry leaves - 1 spring
Oil - 1.5 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Hing/ Asafoetida - a pinch
Salt - to taste
