The construction of Lotte World Tower in Seoul, South Korea began in 2011 and was open to the public in 2017. The vertical city achieved LEED Gold Certification for its sustainability features.
The building gained several records, such as the 5th tallest building in the world, 3rd tallest in Asia, and 1st tallest in South Korea.
The mixed-use building was constructed by the Lotte Group and designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF). The building contains retail, entertainment, offices, residences, a hotel, and an observatory on the top.
