Watch in 4K ✧ Road trip day 4/10. In this December 2020 Costa Rica travel vlog, we spent the day out at sea on a snorkeling and sunset cruise. This is definitely a top thing to do in Tamarindo!

We started our day with a morning workout then heading to this really cool breakfast spot called Breaking Bread. They make really good in-house bread so we recommend anyone visiting Tamarindo to stop there for some food! We then spent the day on a catamaran and enjoyed the open waters. The boat had a capacity for 75 people but because of COVID, only 10 people had booked the tour. This was really great for us since we felt like we had the boat to ourselves, however it was a true example of the difficult times the tourism industry in going through right now. It took about 1.5 hours to get to our snorkeling spot and once we got there, we strapped on some life jackets and explored. After a surprisingly delicious rice and beans lunch (surprising because we were in the middle of the ocean!), we headed back to Tamarindo while watching the sun set. Even though we didn't get to see much in the water due to poor visibility, it was a really fun experience and we highly recommend booking with Marlin del Rey Catamaran Sailing Tours ($125 CAD/ person) - [ Ссылка ].
