The Suffolk Public Schools College & Career Academy at Pruden showcased student talent during their Culinary Arts Performance Based End of the Year Luncheon. This event highlighted the benefits of combining experiential learning with 21st Century Workplace Readiness Skills. Students transformed "The Venue“ from a classroom into a fine dining restaurant environment.
Our SPS students had the chance to cook a cuisine with World Renowned Chef, Malcolm Mitchell. The menu consisted of Scallops, Braised Lamb, Aged New York Strip, Garlic Potato, Honey Glazed Carrots, Brioche Bread Pudding, and Goat Cheese Ice Cream.
