I personally think these Husqvarna FN98 large ring Mausers are better than the 1600 small ring series of HVA rifles.
PS: These Fantastic Mausers can be purchased for less than today's new budget economy rifles. Back when they built rifles for shooters and not not lawyers. Blood and Guts Mauser 98.
I personally believe today's modern gun manufacturers have stopped listening to the normal hunting community. Thank goodness for Zastava and Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod. Without them there would be no more new Mausers.
This old HVA FN98 is a good Mauser.
