In this video, Ryan walks us through an update to the recently released beta firmware for the Wireless GO II, which added two new key features: the ability to start and stop on-board recordings via the transmitter and the ability to export recordings as WAV files directly from the units.
This new version of the beta firmware includes two updates to how these features work based on feedback from the community, including new LED behaviour when recording starts and stops so it’s easier to see when it’s active, and detection of the Wireless GO II as a USB device without the need for RØDE Central to be open in the background.
