St Joe has announced a lifestyle shopping center adjacent to the Latitude Margaritaville Watersound community called Watersound West Bay Center. It will be located on this 110 acre lot on highway 79, right at the entrance of the community.
Plans call for the center, which has the potential to include approximately 350,000 square feet of leasable space at build out, to feature a mix of retail, restaurant, office and medical space.
Current businesses include Electric Cart Watersound and Capital City Bank with plans for the center's first multi-tenant building for restaurant and retail tenants
St Joe is designing the center to feature retail and restaurant space as well as second floor office space in several mixed use buildings that will include a space for a grocery store and a pharmacy.
In addition to the Town Center, St. Joe has plans for a future full-service public marina, many Latitude Margaritaville amenities, and developing a health care campus, along with Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare and Florida State University (FSU) College of Medicine, located just minutes from Latitude Margaritaville Watersound.
