UN looks like being the agreed place for a summit meeting. ® Meanwhile, the British tanker "Clyde Explorer" arrived at Aqaba, with some four thousand tons of fuel from Aden. It is to be transported to Jordan. Seen in Amman is Mr Charles Johnson, the British Ambassador, with Brigadier Tom Pearson, OC British Forces in Amman. Men of his command were allowed into the city and quickly made friends.
