It's not breaking news to anyone that med school is expensive. But which ones are the most expensive and what institution holds the number 1 spot with over $68,000.00+ in tuition per semester!? Here's a breakdown!

Becoming a doctor is not cheap. Going to college for pre-meds alone can bury you in student debt for years, even decades if things don’t go as planned. Then you are off to med school where there's a lot more to pay for and I am not just talking about the tuition. You have to wait years from premed all the way to residency to get a good paycheck as a medical doctor.

That's why it's really important to talk about the tuition rates of med schools. Early, you have to plan out where you want to go and weigh, not just the reputation and quality of education, but also the cost of living.

I owed over $190,000.00 in loans after graduating although I went to a medical school known for giving a great education for the price. To some, that's a lot, but to others it's nothing if they went to a med school in Boston or somewhere in Southern California.
