On 19th May, 2022, Scientist and Scaling experts from NEXTGEN, IITA, NRCRI, CORNELL UNIVERSITY, Umudike seeds and GoSeeds, stormed Kogi State, Nigeria to launch two new high yielding cassava varieties namely "Baba 70 & Game Changer".
With correct Agronomic practices, farmers in cassava seeds and root business are expected to make more than double of their income, compared to what they get from planting old varieties.
