CBSE class 10 Science - Electricity - The heating effect of electric current is when an electric current flows through a metallic conductor, and it gets heated up.
Uses of electricity can be categorized into 3 parts on the basis of different effects shown by electricity

Reason behind heating effect of electric current is when the current passes through a conductor the electrons have to face the resistance of the conductor which results in the loss of energy and this loss of energy gets converted into heat energy.
