Buying a dj controller ?
Wah Gwan Peeps! If you are planning to purchase your first dj gear but cant decide whether a controller or a battle mixer is right for you. Don't worry you are not alone, it happens to the best of us. In this video you will get the most important questions answered. These questions will ultimately make your buying experience easier.
I know pro Dj's up on to this day who struggle to decide which gear to keep. So let us run through some basic tips.
BUY THE RIGHT DJ GEAR
Dj controller
This is more portable and easy to set up. Most of the time it comes pack with effects and features on the mixer that works with Serato Dj, Virtual Dj, Rekord Box and More. A controller in most cases are also more affordable. The only downside is when something goes wrong the entire unit is down. Another downside is faders most controllers are either hard to replace or cant be replaced any at all.
Dj Mixers
Some are packed with features and while others aren't.The Rane 72 for example is a great unit with all the bells and whistles but has a wapping price tag of $1899. Bare in mind to get the right Dj feel you will need a pair of cdjs or turntables.
