How To Prevent Hoarseness, Damage, and Vocal Fatigue When Singing | Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy
Hi Guys,
As I have stated many times and will state again here; singing is a sport.
And like any sport, we need to build up the correct muscle structures to obtain what we are looking to achieve.
Going horse is a byproduct of singing from the throat (not having good diaphragmatic support) and the over-use of air.
Let me explain:
If we don't have the strength in our stomach to sing correctly to relax the throat, we start to strain.
When this happens, we start shoving more are across the vocal cords to get sound.
This vicious cycle cause the cords to become inflamed and not allow for correct phonation (sound).
In this video we explore how to overcome this and not get tired to hoarse when singing.
