Murphy’s Reel is the third tune in a 3 set medley Kevin Burke learned from the Murphy family in the Irish county of Wexford. The tune played out of the key of D, and it’s another great choice for a beginner level player. There are plenty of opportunities for triplets, rolls and double stops in this melody for advanced players as well.
