In Indonesia, martabak has been adapted to suit local tastes. There are two main types:
1. Sweet Martabak - This version is uniquely Indonesian and not found in Yemen.
2. Savoury Martabak - This is more similar to the original from the Middle East but with added Indonesian flavors.
