Meanwhile the AU says it is concerned that nasa organized and carried out a swearing in ceremony where Nasa Leader Raila Odinga took oath as the people's president, saying it was against the constitution and the rule of law. in a statement chairperson of the african union commission Mousssa Faki Mahamat, says the au sent an observer mission, led by former south Africa President Thabo Mbeki to the country to monitor the elections which were validated by the supreme court.
The AU says it condemns all actions that undermine the rule of law, urging all stakeholders to desist from any such actions that would put the country's political stability at risk.
the body says it is ready to step in and help in any way to diffuse the current political tension.
