Often called the ‘King of Grapes’, cabernet sauvignon might just be the most recognisable and best-loved wine grape in the world – and it is certainly the most planted. Its ability to produce high-quality wines in far-flung corners of the globe has made it an international powerhouse.
In this session, Anna will explore the origins of the variety, its unique character and the styles of wines that it can produce. We’ll visit Bordeaux where it is blended to produce some of the world’s priciest and most age-worthy wines as well as exploring the styles of California, Australia and even Lebanon.
