Maurice Colbert was brutally attacked from behind and suffered a traumatic brain injury. Throughout the criminal justice process, Maurice was not kept informed and felt revictimized by the very system put in place to protect him. Crime victims in North Carolina deserve better. Please vote yes on the Crime Victims Amendment this November to give victims of crime the rights they need and deserve in North Carolina’s criminal justice system.
