Completed just in time for the summer season in June 2020, the Amvic ICFs used in this pool were installed by a single person, the homeowner. The whole project was completed with just 100 man hours of help over a period of eight days. ICFs enabled the homeowner to add seats inside the pool. A plaster or tile finish is the highest and most durable finish in the pool industry and ICFs provide the ability to achieve that. The homeowner created a 10-foot deep pool with two fountains embedded into the top of the tanning ledge and two additional fountains embedded right into the ICF on the deep end shelf. There are 10 LED lights incorporated around the pool on the inside walls and stairs. By using ICFs, equipment was not required for maneuvering, since the ICFs are lightweight and the homeowner was able to carry them. ICFs provide a consistent temperature once heated due to the insulated walls. The Peterson pool became a project of interest in the area and essentially encouraged four other ICF pools to be built.
