Snowman Wood Slice Ornament

This is an easy step-by-step tutorial video on how to paint a cute snowman ornament. I used an 4X4” wood slice and matte acrylic paints. This woodslice painting is a simple DIY Christmas craft project to make. It can be personalized with a Sharpie marker to make a special handmade Christmas gift.

The simple steps are as below:
00:00 - Intro
00:12 - Paint the background with acrylic in dark blue
00:49 - Draw a snowman with a pencil
01:09 - Use white acrylic to paint the snowman
01:36 - Load the brush with black acrylic and paint the snowman’s hat
02:01 - Use orange acrylic on small brush to paint the nose
02:14 - Use red on small brush to paint snowman’s scarf
02:53 - Add small white dots around the snowman for snow. Also add stripes on the scarf.
03:57 - Use Sharpie black marker to draw dots for the nose & mouth. Add black buttons on snowman’s body. Then draw branches for the arms.
04:43 - Remove pencil marks with an eraser
04:52 - Thread a ribbon through the pre-drilled hole on the wood slice
