In this video, I compare all 3 2018 15" MacBook Pro models in regards to video editing using Final Cut Pro X, Davinci Resolve, and Adobe Premiere Pro. One model is the 2.2GHz i7 with Radeon Pro 555X 4GB graphics card, 16GB of DDR4 ram and 256GB SSD. The mid-tier model has a 2.6GHz i7 with Radeon Pro 560X 4GB graphics, 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD. Our custom ordered top model has an intel i9 2.8GHz CPU with Radeon Pro 4GB 560X graphics and 32GB of DDR4 ram and 512GB SSD.

I compare all three 2018 Macbook Pro's video editing with H.264 4K footage along with HEVC or h.265 4K projects and ProRes RAW. Also tested is Canon Cinema Raw Lite from the C200 and RED RAW .R3D files.
