Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal visited Goa on October 13. Sarbananda inaugurated a floating concrete jetty and a solar-electric hybrid ferry at Panjim Ferry Point on Thursday. The Union Minister also unveiled multiple development projects worth ₹169.75 crore in Goa and laid the foundation stones for multiple development projects at Mormugao Port. Multiple projects for development of the inland waterways and marine sector in the Konkan region of Goa & Mangalore were also inaugurated at Goa.
