📱Mobile phone throwing is a national sport in Finland that started back in 2000. The competition started when a company with multinational personnel organized the event, in partnership with a recycling company, to allow their staff to take out their frustration with their mobile phones. 😡

The rest is mobile phone history. 🌟

🎖️The current world record holder is Dries Feremans whose official Guinness world record throw was 110m 42cm.

The competition has 4 categories:
✨Traditional (backward throw), judged on distance
✨Freestyle, judged on creativity
✨Team (groups of 3)
✨Youth

📱So for my #armchairtravel adventure today, my friend Teresa generously donated 2 Nokia phones for our version of the mobile phone throwing competition. I am happy to report that the phones are still in tack🤣🤣🤣

📱It was extra special to use the Nokia phone, as Nokia is a Finnish company that was founded in 1865.
