I recently tested Nokia 6.1 plus camera and I posted a video on it, If you havn't watched that video, link is in the top right corner.
This phone peforms well in good light but performs poorly in low light and photos are noisy and soft in dim light. but this is something which can be fixed by
nokia in software update.
So if you can't wait for Nokia's update on it, you can install google camera in the phone, story is different.

this is the photo taken by stock camera and next is the photo taken by google camera, if you look at them side by side, it looks like a different part of the day
while both the photos are shot on same time.

here is another example, now this photo is taken at night time.
the 1st one is taken by nokia camera and other is taken by Google camera and again there is a lot
of difference. pathway is not even visible on the stock camera app

Now this google camera not only improves low light performance but it also improves the portrait shots with natural background blur, better skin tones and vibrant colors and it applies to both the back and the front camera.

Here is one example for the selfie camera.
