The late Comedy King, Dolphy as well as Ai Ai delas Alas, Eugene Domingo, Michael V. and Vice Ganda will headline the roster of comedians who will be recognized at the closing ceremony of the 3rd Philippine Film Industry Month (PFIM) on September 29.

The opening ceremony will be held on September 1 at Shangri-La Plaza Cinema 1 in Mandaluyong City where the restored and remastered version of the 1993 Dolphy-starrer 'Home Along Da Riles' will be shown.

'Tuloy Ang Tawanan' is the theme of this year's PFIM, that pays tribute to Philippine comedy and to the iconic Filipino comedians who took part in shaping and nurturing our popular culture.

The annual event aims to showcase and celebrate the achievements and progress of the discipline of film and filmmaking. The month-long celebration is organized by the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP).
