In today's video, we're taking a look at how the "Majority Text" is defined by those who call themselves majority text advocates. Is it the same as the Textus Receptus (TR) or received text?, the Byzantine Text or the Byzantine textform? How does it relate to the Majority text as it was used by other writers? In this video We also take a look at some of the Claims of the Hodges and Farstad Greek New Testament (HFGNT or HF) and how it uses the term majority text. As you'll come to see, the definition varies from how Peter Gurry and Elijah Hixson would use it to the slightly modified usage of the term by @MatthewEverhard. Come join me as we take an insightful look into the term "Majority Text"
Thanks to those who provided their definition of "Majority Text", even those that didn't make it into the video :)
