2006 Kia sedona. My lower A-arm broke while driving! turns out it was rusted through. Kia refused to include my vehicle in the part recall that applies to other years/models/regions for this part. Luckily my wife didn't lose control of the vehicle when she suddenly heard a loud thumping sound. the cv joint was making the noise because the arm was cracked and bending down at a low angle. I bought a new arm for $75 on rock auto. my dealer wanted to charge $211 for the part. it was an easy replacement except the nut on the front vertical mount was totally rusted stuck and i had to use a 18" breaker bar and long box end wrench from harbor freight to break it free little by little. the van drives normally again and i'm considering replacing the right side arm as a preventive measure. the sub frame is pretty rusted so i'm also considering getting rid of the vehicle.
