The 2 day street food guide to Milan, Italy from the website www.foodtourist.co.uk. Covering Italian food like pizza, panzerotti, arancini. We do vlog food guides to cities in Europe, Asia, Australia and America.
We arriMusic Vacanze al Mare by I Re della Spiaggia
ved in Milan, Italy on the Friday night after getting a mid- afternoon flight from Edinburgh with Easy Jet. The flight was on time and pretty comfortable. From the airport we then got the Malpensa Express train from Terminal 1 at Malpensa airport with tickets which cost €26 Euors which we'd bought in advance from this website: [ Ссылка ]
The train took about 45 minutes and was very comfortable and clean. We arrived at Garibaldi station where we were met by our friend and host Gill.
On the first night we went out for pizza at a local pizzeria and drank a lot of prosecco. This night is not really featured in the video as it was a time for us to enjoy with an old friend.
The next day we travelled on the Milan metro to Duomo where we went to Luini near by the Duomo and got panzerotti. This is a deep fried, bread pocket filled willed with mozarella and tomatoes but there are a number of other delicious fillings. A link to this place is:

After this we met up with our friend Finlay (@FinlayD) who had travelled in from Glasgow that morning. We then went and watched the Scotland vs Ireland game (which we won) and enjoyed some drinks.
Following this we went to the canal district of Milan for some food and had some arancini. These are hot rice balls filled with different fillings like ham and cheese, or chicken and pesto, all breaded and deep fried... amazing.
Later that night we hit a bakery. Milan bakeries are a great way to eat very, very cheaply and all through the night. We got an individual pizza for €2.50 at 1am. Can't say fairer than that. Some links to great bakeries below:

The next day, with a few sore heads, we headed out to get some late lunch near the Duomo. We ended up going to the Mercato del Duomo which is a food market next to the main square. There we ate Pizzoccheri which is a hearty mountain dish and was great:

We flew back to the UK with Easy Jet's service from Milan to Edinburgh and the flight was on time and cheap. The food in milan was amazing, especially the street food and we would recommend a trip to anybody. The food is very cheap if you are eating street food and would be particuarly enjoyable in Summer even though we visited this time in winter.
