Climbing Pollux in the Pennine Alps Switzerland. At 4,092m Pollux offers a variety of terrain and alpine skills all while remaining accessible and exciting. Following a 03:00 am alpine waking up at the Val D'ayas hut, we began the 2 mile and 2,200 ft climb to reach the summit. The climb was a blast navigating the ridge, leading a mellow climb, and then being rewarded with a picturesque snow ridge to the summit. Could not have asked for a better day!
