Is the application fee one-time or annual?

The $248 fee is annual, similar to renewing your other state-issued forms of documentation. The RNS ID doesn't have a time limit. The affiliated Palau ID has every year sanction checks and renewal.

Will pricing change in the future?

What is RNS?
RNS (Root Name System) is the digital identity platform developed to support the application and issuance of sovereignty-backed digital IDs.

RNS.ID is a Sovereignty-Backed Identification Card supported by Blockchain and Web 3.0. The Republic of Palau has launched a digital residency program with the help of Cryptic Labs. We are going to be digging into the process, going through the documents and FAQs, and providing all the information we can as we go through the process.
