Michigan supporters gathered on a bridge over US-23 in Mundy Township Friday afternoon, Feb. 25 to see off a trucker convoy headed to rally in Washington, D.C. scheduled for next week.
The rally expected to take place Tuesday, March 1 in the nation’s capital has been touted as a showing of solidarity with Canadian drivers who recently held a blockade over coronavirus mandates on the trucking industry.
Those gathered on a frigid late Friday morning into the early afternoon hours held signs with words of encouragement and waved American flags as the convoy rolled south on US-23 at Baldwin Road.
