The eighth edition of the Sulaimani Forum took place on April 17 and 18, 2024, at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani. The 2024 Forum arrived amidst a new episode of conflict and instability in the Middle East, factors that undoubtedly bore significant immediate and long-term consequences for Iraq and its neighboring nations. Simultaneously, the specter of climate change and mounting water scarcity issues escalated with each passing year, underscoring the imperative for unified action among regional countries. The Sulaimani Forum sought to offer a platform where such critical and time-sensitive matters could be comprehensively discussed and effectively resolved.
